Job summary

HMH is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern in Houston, TX to gain hands-on experience supporting brand, social media, events, content, and digital communications for a global drilling solutions team.

The 12-week internship runs May 24–August 13, 2027. You must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate program, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

HMH Marketing & Communications department is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote HMH’s products and services, as well as managing internal and external communications. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in marketing strategies and campaigns, contributing to the growth and success of HMH's global brand.
The Marketing & Communications Intern will assist the global marketing & communications team with:

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be an enrolled when internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college in a related bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of basic marketing principles
• Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Self‑motivated and hardworking
