Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Newark, Ohio area to oversee a 12-hour rotating shift.

You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity on your shift, with a strong emphasis on procedures, policy adherence, and coaching a team of associates. The role requires 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work a 3-on/2-off/2-on schedule, including nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• Ability to work 6:30 PM–7:00 AM on a 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on cycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure associates work safely and understand Plastipak's safety commitment.
• Handle disciplinary actions and retention efforts.
• Maintain motivation and timely completion of performance evaluations.
• Drive safety, quality, reliability and scrap reduction priorities.
