Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is hiring for a manufacturing associate in Jackson Center, Ohio.

You will operate extrusion and blow-molding machines, adjust settings, and help maintain production quality on a demanding 12-hour shift pattern with alternating weekends off. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Knack for working with hands and solving mechanical problems.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems helps.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure, as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and handle basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to ensure customer standards are met.
• Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Pursue on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.
