Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a shift and ensure smooth operations end-to-end.
• Proficient communication with supervisors, engineers, and operators.
• Read, write and speak English; professional conduct required.

Responsibilities

• Set up the next shift with a clean area and verify tooling.
• Communicate quality and process issues to supervisors and engineers.
• Train and sign off operators on jobs and SWIs.
• Supply operators with materials and ensure proper labeling.
• Perform quality checks and monitor tooling and gauges.
• Call for maintenance when machines are down and manage scrap flow.
• Move finished product to the next operation and manage overtime coverage.
• Operate machines during emergencies per supervision.
