Job summary

Jobot seeks a dynamic Senior Accountant/Office Manager to oversee all accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role blends financial leadership with office management and payroll responsibilities, offering a hybrid schedule and room for growth.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in senior accounting, strong QuickBooks and Excel skills, and a solid grasp of GAAP, GL, and month-end/year-end close processes in a high-growth company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in a senior accounting role; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, and bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
• Proven experience as an Office Manager or Administrative Director.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, and QuickBooks entries.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate and direct office services to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the office including maintenance of office systems and equipment procurement.
• Develop and implement office policies/procedures in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Participate in developing business strategy and major initiatives.
• Coordinate with sales operations to optimize revenue and meet financial objectives.
• Manage and oversee payroll preparations and financial reporting.
