Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Segment Controller to act as the site finance lead and strategic partner for the business unit. The role centers on manufacturing cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance within a Fortune 500 environment.

You will oversee month-end close, product costing, inventory management, and capital expenditure analyses while driving working capital improvements and ensuring SOX/GAAP compliance. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting and finance experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, US GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX 404.
• Product cost accounting, inventory management, and working capital optimization.
• Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle, HFM, and Power BI preferred.
• Public company and M&A experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Budgets & forecasts, analyzing revenue, profitability, expenses, and working capital.
• Monitor KPIs, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support product development.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, physical counts, and obsolete inventory reserves.
• Drive working capital improvements across accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, and other operating accounts.
• Evaluate capital expenditures & prepare financial analyses, inc: NPV calculations.
• Compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, & company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and divisional reporting requirements.
