Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Mineola, NY is seeking a Business Segment Controller to lead site finance and act as a strategic business partner to the unit manager. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting with a strong focus on manufacturing cost control and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities include month-end close, KPIs, capital expenditure analysis, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, US GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX 404.
• Product cost accounting, inventory management, and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Budgets & forecasts, analyzing revenue, profitability, expenses, and working capital.
• Monitor KPIs, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support product development.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, physical counts, and excess and obsolete inventory reserves.
• Drive working capital improvements across accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, and other operating accounts.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and prepare financial analyses, including NPV calculations.
• Compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and divisional reporting requirements.
