Job summary

KLA Industries, a growing North American manufacturing organization, seeks a seasoned Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and cost accounting across multiple facilities in the region.

Responsibilities include mastering monthly close, policy development, budgeting and forecasting, mult-site consolidations, and audit readiness, in collaboration with plant leadership, commercial teams, and corporate finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA and/or master’s degree preferred.
• 15–20 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• At least three years in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and multi-site consolidations.
• ERP experience required; SAP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, cost, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures per U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with plant and commercial leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory reconciliations, rate studies, and multi-site reporting.
• Manage external audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and audit-readiness.
• Present financial results and risks to senior leadership.
• Support ERP implementations and finance-process improvements.
• Lead, develop, and hold accounting team accountable for performance.
