Job summary

PTC is a major manufacturer producing highly engineered steel tubing, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The Production Coordinator will plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to maximize throughput and on-time delivery in the Conversion and Fabrication departments.

You will generate and maintain production batches in the ERP system, adjust schedules, monitor material flow and inventory, and work closely with Weld Mill Planner and Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to ensure

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Plan, release, and manage production batches in the ERP system to meet delivery requirements.
• Monitor production schedules to balance workloads and maximize throughput.
• Coordinate with Weld Mill Planner and Shipping & Receiving to ensure material availability and on-time shipments.
• Investigate process losses and drive continuous improvement in scheduling accuracy.
• Communicate revised delivery dates to Sales and maintain accurate production records.
