Job summary

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. in Waggaman, LA seeks a full-time Manufacturing Scheduler/Expediter to plan, schedule, monitor, and expedite production to meet customer orders on time and to quality standards.

This role acts as a liaison between Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to align resources and resolve scheduling conflicts. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field, at least 3 years of manufacturing scheduling or expediting experience, strong project

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing scheduling, planning, or expediting.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements, materials, and capacity.
• Monitor progress and ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Expedite materials and work orders to remove delays.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely material receipt and address supply chain issues.
• Balance workloads with Production Supervisors to optimize efficiency.
• Provide schedule updates and communicate priorities.
