Job summary

Seaman Corporation, a family-owned fabric manufacturer, seeks a Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Manager across our Bristol, TN and Wooster, OH facilities. You will lead safety training, audits, incident investigations, and program development to uphold our “Safety First” culture; 2+ years manufacturing safety experience and OSHA certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing safety experience.
• Must have OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager in developing and implementing safety programs.
• Promote a strong safety culture by reducing injuries and near misses.
• Deliver required safety training (Hazard Communication/GHS, LOTO, confined space, PPE).
• Conduct routine safety audits across production and warehouse areas; focus on machine guarding and chemical safety.
• Partner with managers to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
