Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Corporate Safety Director: Manufacturing to lead safety programs across its manufacturing operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, provide technical support, and train teams at all levels to mitigate risk.

This role spans multiple locations and requires strategic and hands-on leadership. The position demands deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and PSM/RMP, with a track record of reducing incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or related field; advanced degree or CSP/CIH/CHMM preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience leading safety across multiple operations/geographies.
• Experience interfacing with government regulatory agencies.
• 7+ years of people leadership (direct and indirect).
• Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and related regulations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, PSM/RMP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Lead safety teams and mentor peers to reduce risk and incidents.
