Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental health and safety within industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Familiarity with EPA regulations and environmental compliance practices.
• Experience with machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazard identification and incident investigation.
• Ability to develop and deliver employee safety training and communicate policies effectively.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Oversee machine guarding, LOTO, PPE, and other critical safety programs.
• Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, near misses, and environmental incidents; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, compliance documentation, inspection reports, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with operations, production, maintenance, and management to improve safety.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures accordingly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce injuries and strengthen compliance.
