Kapco Metal Stamping in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on EHS Manager to lead safety, environmental, and compliance programs across manufacturing, paint, warehouse, and distribution operations. You will drive incident investigations, risk assessments, and training to protect employees and ensure regulatory adherence.

This role partners with operations to implement controls, manage OSHA/EPA/DOT requirements, maintain records, and promote waste reduction and sustainability initiatives while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related field.
• At least three years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or distribution.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Lead EHS programs across manufacturing, paint, warehouse, and distribution facilities.
• Monitor and support compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other requirements.
• Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments; identify hazards and recommend controls.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses; determine root causes and ensure corrective actions.
• Manage OSHA recordkeeping, reporting, and related documentation.
• Maintain and improve emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs including air emissions, hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, and chemical management.
• Coordinate permitting activities and support regulatory inspections.
• Maintain environmental records and compliance documentation.
• Champion waste-reduction, resource efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
• Partner with operations on machine guarding, lockout/tagout, confined-space entry, fall protection, and PPE programs.
• Promote safe handling of paints, solvents, coatings, and other hazardous materials.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene assessments and follow-up actions.
• Support safety programs for warehouse and distribution center operations.
• Advance safe material-handling, pedestrian, loading-dock, and powered industrial truck practices.
• Support DOT compliance and transportation safety initiatives.
• Develop and deliver engaging EHS training for employees and leaders.
• Track, analyze, and communicate safety performance metrics and trends.
