Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing company, is seeking a hands-on Cable Assembly Technician to build, inspect, test and troubleshoot cable assemblies and harnesses at our Bingen, WA site. The role includes drafting and updating work instructions, performing acceptance inspections, and maintaining documentation.

Required are a High School diploma and 4+ years of related experience; IPC-620 training or equivalent is expected. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bingen, WA.

Qualifications

• IPC-620 training or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with cable assemblies and harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Builds, inspects, tests, and troubleshoots cable assemblies and harnesses.
• Performs acceptance inspections of cables and wiring.
• Drafts, reviews, and edits technical work instructions, checklists, quality documentation, and procedures related to cable fabrication.
• Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of cable assemblies and associated wiring.
• Supports engineering with cable design changes, cable testing, data collection, and documentation for continuous product improvement and development.
• Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools related to cable assembly work.
• Reviews and completes business and required documentation.
