Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the Operations team onsite in Bingen, WA. You will build, inspect, test, and troubleshoot cable assemblies and harnesses, while supporting design changes and documentation.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience, with IPC-620 training or equivalent. You will work on-site with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical and electro-optical components.

Responsibilities

• Builds, inspects, tests, and troubleshoots cable assemblies and harnesses.
• Performs acceptance inspections of cables and wiring.
• Drafts, reviews, and edits technical work instructions, checklists, quality documentation, and procedures related to cable fabrication.
• Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of cable assemblies and associated wiring.
• Supports engineering with cable design changes, cable testing, data collection, and documentation for continuous product improvement and development.
• Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools related to cable assembly work.
• Reviews and completes business and required documentation.
• Has IPC-620 training or equivalent experience.

What you’ll do
