Job summary

IKG Corp. in Garrett, IN, is seeking a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 6-month contract with potential to transition to full-time.

You will manage the full-cycle recruiting process for industrial and manufacturing positions, source candidates, and coordinate onboarding and pre-employment steps. This role partners with hiring managers, maintains pipelines, and tracks metrics to support HR leadership.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in industrial/manufacturing
• Experience using an ATS, preferably Paylocity
• Proven ability to source and fill roles quickly on major platforms
• Strong onboarding, compliance, and employment screenings knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with multiple requisitions in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for industrial/manufacturing roles
• Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and deliver recruiting strategies
• Source candidates on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Monster, LinkedIn, and niche boards
• Manage ATS postings and maintain a candidate pipeline
• Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks and drug screens
• Facilitate onboarding and new hire paperwork, orientation and compliance
• Track recruitment metrics and provide hiring reports to HR leadership
• Maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and education institutions
• Stay updated on industry hiring trends to improve recruiting strategies
