We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for a newly created position as our Manufacturing & Quality Manager for our ISO 9001-2015 Certified plants in Fort Wayne & Dayton, Ohio.
We are seeking a highly driven individual that will independently assume hands‑on responsibility on the production floors for directing our quality and manufacturing processes. This includes but is not limited to providing direction to the Team Leaders & Supervisors with personnel totaling 50+ production team members: contributing to process and workflow improvements, and efficiencies and higher quality production of our products.
You will report directly to a hands‑on local General Manager and to an organization that has been aggressively investing in new technology, hardware, and manufacturing workflow with lean manufacturing processes.
Additionally, you will bring experience in a broad range of manufacturing environments that allows you to contribute meaningfully to the following areas.
Lead, promote and nurture a safety minded environment. Use quality system tools such as PFMEA analysis and process mapping to monitor, maintain and improve existing production planning and flow process.
Analyze and provide ongoing forecasting and capacity management.
Use previous experience in quality management systems to establish and maintain procedures that ensure high standards of productivity of on time production, product quality, cost effectiveness and safety.
Utilize human and capital resources to meet written goals and objectives, established by communication and input from both management, while consistently serving the needs of the customer.
Support and create improvement efforts utilizing lean manufacturing and continual improvement techniques.
Call on past Supervisory experience to Provide leadership, direction, accountability, and motivation to employees.
Support a continuous Quality Improvement mentality on the production floor through the introduction of fresh ideas and the use of proven Quality tools and methods.
