We are looking for a Quality Professional who is ready to grow into a long-term leadership role as a quality manager for a mid size manufacturing company right here in Columbus. This position has a built-in succession plan, with the current Quality Manager planning to retire in approximately 2-3 years. The person hired will begin leading the quality function immediately while working alongside the current manager during the transition, giving them the opportunity to learn the operation, implement improvements, and ultimately take full ownership of the department. Note this person WILL Have the Quality Manager title right away.
Our client has been manufacturing products for more than 60 years and continues to experience significant growth. Their business consists of an established lawn and garden product line sold through many of the nation's leading retailers, along with a rapidly expanding contract manufacturing division producing powder-coated weldments for large industrial customers.
Their contract manufacturing business has grown over 4x the past few years and is making this an exciting time to join the organization.
Unlike a custom job shop, production focuses on long-term manufacturing programs with production runs typically ranging from hundreds to thousands of parts.
The manufacturing facility currently employs approximately 25 people, with this position directly managing 2-3 employees.
