Job summary

Momentive Technologies in Ohio is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and deployment of our Quality Management System. You will drive improvement initiatives and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008/2015 and AS9100.

The role includes leading audits, RCCA investigations, and supplier QMS activities, with responsibility for 5S and data-driven quality improvements at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience leading RCCA investigations and quality initiatives.
• Ability to communicate across plant and management levels.
• SAP QM knowledge desirable.
• ISO 9001 and AS9100 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee customer response program related to product quality, specifications and related services.
• Drive Product Quality through manufacturing capability improvement programs and ensure quality meets our customer needs.
• Maintain QA procedures for approval of raw materials, including inspection, testing, and vendor approval.
• Maintain corrective action process for quality findings, vendor non-conformances, and other issues.
• Plan, direct and perform internal quality audits to ensure QMS effectiveness.
• Review Process Interaction Maps, Control Plans and FMEAs for internal processes and supplier activities.
• Ensure quality planning for new products and materials introductions.
• Serve as SME regarding published Quality Standards and Procedures.
• Promote 5S in the quality lab and across the plant site.
• Lead proactive quality improvements with data and trend analysis.
• Maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications.
• Conduct supplier QMS audits and verify corrective actions.
