Job summary

Benshaw, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented quality inspector to perform inspections of in-process and outgoing components.

You will record findings to ensure compliance with company, governmental and UL standards, and support CI initiatives including A3, VSM, ESD, 5S and torque analyses. Qualified candidates have 2–3 years of quality inspection experience, strong math and measurement skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical Degree strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably with electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Advanced math skills (data analysis), measuring skills, computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access Database, Visio, Power Point).
• Statistical Analysis Software & Programs, ASQ Certification, Associate Degree, experience with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, thickness, color) and IFS/ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently to meet milestones and handle deadlines.
• Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspections of in-process manufacturing and outgoing components.
• Assist with implementation of Continuous Improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement process improvements based on FPY results.
• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.
• Draft procedures and help implement them with teams.
• Assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods and analyses.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings; present complex analyses using PowerPoint or similar.
