Job summary

HellermannTyton is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead cross-functional investigations and drive effective containment and corrective actions for quality issues on the TIGER team.

You will coordinate problem-solving efforts, work with multiple departments, and ensure compliance with Quality and EHS standards while delivering verified poka-yoke solutions. Strong communication and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of professional engineering or manufacturing quality experience; injection molding experience preferred.
• Experience leading corrective action and root-cause analysis using 8D or similar methods.
• Green Belt Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake and prioritization for quality issues and escalations.
• Coordinate daily TIGER Team review and drive action closure.
• Own structured problem solving from definition to verified corrective action.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work requests and coordinate trials.
• Provide input for 8D responses and customer communications.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and permanent controls.
• Monitor team performance and drive improvement of processes and methods.
