Job summary

HellermannTyton is seeking a Quality Technician Supervisor to oversee daily quality control activities and lead the technician team. You will manage escalated quality issues, coordinate shift coverage, support training, and ensure proper execution of quality processes across all shifts.

You will work with production and engineering to resolve issues, conduct audits, maintain compliance with Quality and EHS standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency, required.
• 4+ years of experience in a quality assurance role in manufacturing or related industry.
• Leadership or team coordination experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision and color identification required for inspections.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and respond to shift demands.
• Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day quality control activities and lead the technician team.
• Escalate and resolve quality events, coordinate with production and engineering for resolution.
• Set staff schedules, manage overtime, and ensure staffing levels.
• Train new team members and maintain records for development.
• Audit processes, reinforce performance, and address disciplinary actions.
• Support Hold Ticket, Backtracking, Deviations, and Red Stamp reviews.
• Foster continuous improvement and uphold Quality and EHS certifications.
