Job summary

RTC in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks a Quality Engineer to boost QA across the manufacturing lifecycle, developing robust quality standards and processes. The role conducts inspections, drives non-conformance analysis, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to implement CAPAs and continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a quality role, strong GD&T and measurement instrument experience, and a track record of improving product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred; ASQ certification acceptable.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing quality role.
• Experience reading drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control (QC) & Design Excellence: develop QC methodologies, test plans and V&V strategies.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: conduct root cause analyses and CAPA plans.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain SOPs, work instructions, quality metrics and reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with production, engineering and support to uphold quality.
