Job summary

ZT Systems, part of ZT Group Int’l, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to participate in new product design reviews, document changes, and collaborate on DFM engineering reviews. You will lead LEAN initiatives, establish assembly yield targets, and drive investigations related to audits to improve manufacturing quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 5+ years in hardware manufacturing, and strong communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in hardware manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Quality audit techniques, ISO 9001, and AQL Inspection Sampling.
• Skilled in team building and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and rapid issue identification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new product design reviews through the development stage and document key design changes.
• Collaborate with the Primary engineering owner for all DFM reviews.
• Golden server sample review and BOM verification.
• Create work instructions and deliver regular training to production team.
• Review and approve manufacturing documentation including assembly manuals.
• Develop and implement manufacturing test engineering plans.
• Design fixtures, tooling, and test equipment for manufacturing.
• Lead LEAN initiatives and apply Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
• Establish assembly line yield targets and track improvements.
• Lead investigations for internal/external audits and ISO audits.
• Lead QC Test and Repair teams to identify root causes of failures.
