Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Engineer for an on-site role in East Moline, IL. The position offers a competitive hourly pay and opportunities to work with premier manufacturing leaders, leveraging SAP, NCCA, and DNCM tools to support quality processes.

The successful candidate will perform inline inspection, GD&T analysis, and CMM-related activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure process compliance while maintaining documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Suite).
• W2 contract basis (no C2C).
• Not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the near future.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Quality Services Team through all factory engineering processes.
• Performing in‑line inspection, tool & gauge asset management, and GD&T analysis/CMM inspection.
• Managing non‑conformance processing and containment activities.
• Collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Management to ensure process compliance.
• Leveraging SAP, NCCA, DNCM, and other tools to process and complete work efficiently.
• Supporting shop floor staff in coordinating containment and inspection activities.
• Providing daily report‑out documentation and ensuring effective communication on prioritization and completed work.
• Maintaining process documentation and control.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $48 per hour

Shift: 1st shift (6a.m. – 3p.m.), Potential Overtime Required, Must be willing to flex and support variable shifts as needed

What’s a typical day as Quality Engineer? You’ll be:

• Supporting the Quality Services Team through all factory engineering processes

• Performing in‑line inspection, tool & gauge asset management, and GD&T analysis/CMM inspection

• Are local to East Moline, IL, and able to work on‑site (metatarsal boots required on Day 1)

• Are able to work on a W2 contract basis (no C2C)

• Are not in need of visa sponsorship now or in the near future

Preferred but not required:

• Background in GD&T

• Experience with CMM programming

• Familiarity with ISO standards

• Skill in data & analytics tool creation
