Job summary

Natural Essentials in Aurora, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. This on-site role focuses on inspecting production, labeling, and documentation to ensure products meet approved specifications and quality system requirements.

You will work closely with Production and Quality teams on a fast-paced floor, perform in-process testing, line clearance, and maintain accurate records, SOP adherence, and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, specifications, work orders, and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with Production and Quality personnel.
• Experience in manufacturing, Quality Control, GMP, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and checks during the manufacturing and packaging process.
• Perform line clearance and verify correct materials, labels, packaging components, and documentation before production begins.
• Verify production setup and finished products against approved prototypes, job reports, work orders, and specifications.
• Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Collect samples for in-process, finished product, stability, retention, and laboratory testing.
• Identify and communicate quality issues, discrepancies, and documentation errors.
• Complete quality documentation, including deviations, non-conforming material reports, and other quality records.
