Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Quality Control Technician for night shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am) at our Aurora, IL facility. You will inspect finished products, materials and assemblies, record data, and ensure conformance to company standards.

You’ll communicate quality issues to shift supervisors and support calibration checks and sampling for testing. Qualifications include a high school diploma with training in inspection procedures, at least 1 year in manufacturing inspection, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with inspection training.
Minimum 1 year in manufacturing inspection and problem solving.
Ability to read and interpret specifications and measurements.

Responsibilities

Perform product inspections for conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.
Communicate with shift supervisors about problems, defects and packaging.
Measure and record data using Datamyte and measurement sheets.
Check equipment operation and notify supervisor of issues.
Verify calibration of gauges, calipers, and height/depth gauges.
Collect samples for testing and prepare them for shipping to customers.
Prepare daily paperwork and maintain records.
