Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Quality Technician in Ohio to perform in-process inspection, QA testing, and documentation for non-conforming material. The role requires calibration of QA equipment, COA data preparation, and adherence to ISO standards, with a 12-hour shift (8pm–8am) and overtime as needed.

Associates degree (math preferred) and 2–5 years of manufacturing QA experience are desired, along with solid math skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Windows/Office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics.
• Two to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• In-process inspection and testing quality verification.
• Ensure QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material.
• Perform film inspection for all consumer packaging products and prepare COA data sheet for QA manager to review.
• Notify any problem regarding extrusion process to QA manager.
• Keep lab equipment and instruments in good operational status; perform calibration and verification to ISO requirements.
• Assist to QA manager in generating work instruction and lab test method.
• Organize and maintain extrusion process checklist and work order sheet; maintain filing for extrusion paperwork.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime.
