Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Control Senior Professional to lead quality initiatives across design, fabrication and assembly, ensuring ISO 9001/IATF compliant processes and strong customer satisfaction.

You will drive RCA/CAPA, audits, SPC and Six Sigma projects, partner with cross-functional teams, develop training, and support NPI with quality considerations from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or related field.
• 5+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing or assembly.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and quality tools.
• Experience with RCA methodologies and CAPA implementation.
• CV/QA tools: SPC, FMEA, control plans, data analysis.

Manufacturing Quality Control Senior Professional

Job Description:

Hitachi Energy. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of product and process quality. This role involves leading quality initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across various departments to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (ISO 9001).
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for identified quality issues.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, predict potential issues, and recommend proactive solutions.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees at all levels.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring quality considerations are addressed from early stages.
• Support customer complaint investigation and resolution, ensuring timely and effective responses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality engineering roles within a manufacturing or assembly environment. Electrical processes preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
• Proven expertise in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and corrective action implementation.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, control plans, and other quality tools.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in quality software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
