Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing, strong ISO 9001/IATF 16949 knowledge, and expertise in RCA, SPC, and QMS. CPC/Lean Six Sigma certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive quality engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Experience with RCA methodologies (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and CAPA.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, control plans and other quality tools.
• CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.

• Conduct internal and external audits for compliance and improvement.

This role involves leading quality initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across various departments to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (ISO 9001).
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for identified quality issues.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, predict potential issues, and recommend proactive solutions.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees at all levels.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring quality considerations are addressed from early stages.
• Support customer complaint investigation and resolution, ensuring timely and effective responses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality engineering roles within a manufacturing or assembly environment. Electrical processes preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
• Proven expertise in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and corrective action implementation.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, control plans, and other quality tools.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in quality software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
