Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the Winchester site's quality function, drive the QMS, and ensure product conformance to ISO 9001 and customer requirements. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain to improve processes and prevent defects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of quality leadership in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with PPAP, control plans, and CAPA, in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing direct reports in a matrix org.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent and audit prep.
• Experience with PPAP, process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, MSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead site quality assurance and control across manufacturing, warehouse, lab, and release.
• Set quality goals, KPIs, and report performance to leadership.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System and certifications.
• Drive regulatory, customer, and internal audit readiness and CAPA.
• Own nonconforming material, containment, and disposition processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and complaints.
• Monitor site quality KPIs and supplier quality performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain on improvements.
