Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor for the 3rd shift in Ohio. The role assists the QA Manager to ensure compliance within the QA department and supports audits, recalls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, preparing reports, issuing NCRs/CAPAs, and maintaining calibration and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime and adhere to SOPs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Manager in QA compliance within the department.
• Inspect incoming materials for conformance with specifications.
• Prepare QA reports and issue NCRs/CAPAs as needed.
• Support internal and customer audits and recalls as required.
• Coordinate pest control and ensure proper calibration of tools.
