Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor – Assembly to inspect incoming materials and audit work in process and finished goods for quality and customer specifications.

The role includes verifying cgmp adherence, reviewing production paperwork, data recording, and coordinating with Project Managers and customers as needed. Candidates should understand quality systems and be prepared for overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Knowledge of quality systems (cgmp, SOP) preferred.
• Proficient math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials to assure conformance with specs and release for production.
• Audit assembly lines to ensure compliance with work orders and finished goods specs.
• Verify compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.
• Review and release production paperwork to facilitate shipments.
• Record data for internal analysis of finished goods.
• Communicate paperwork issues to operations as needed.
• Participate in internal QA, customer and regulatory audits as required.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Overtime is required.
