Job summary

Capital Staffing, Inc is seeking a Purchasing Specialist in Scotts Valley, CA to oversee daily purchasing operations and coordinate cross-functional work across customer service, production, and quality teams. You will manage supplier relations, prepare quotes, and help move projects from quote to invoicing using JobBOSS and QuickBooks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of purchasing experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Experience in an aerospace, precision machine shop, or fabrication shop is highly preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (JobBOSS or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for customers, vendors, and suppliers via phone and email.
Respond to inquiries regarding quotations, orders, production schedules, and delivery status.
Coordinate requests for quotations and assist with order processing.
Maintain customer records and enter data into ERP and accounting systems.
Generate production schedules and communicate priorities with production teams.
Create customer invoices using JobBOSS and QuickBooks.
Review purchase orders and supplier invoices; support Accounts Payable.
