Jobot is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead strategic sourcing for complex construction and manufacturing projects. You will own sourcing, negotiations, vendor management, and the full purchasing lifecycle to ensure on-time material delivery and cost efficiency.

This high-impact role partners with operations, engineering, and project teams to shape procurement strategies, drive savings, and support profitable project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience within construction or related industries.
• Proven success negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and procurement systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Job Details

As the Purchasing Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving the success of complex construction and manufacturing projects by ensuring the right materials are sourced at the right time and cost.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you’ll partner with operations, engineering, and project teams to build and execute procurement strategies that directly influence timelines, margins, and overall project success.

You’ll own the full purchasing lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiations to vendor management and process optimization—while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets

What You Bring

Core Qualifications

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• CPSM, CPM, or similar certification
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms
• Familiarity with construction workflows and project environments
• Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting/data tools
