Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and go-live of manufacturing projects in Minnetonka, MN. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet objectives and drive successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of manufacturing project leadership with PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred and strong skills in scope, schedule, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s/MBA preferred) in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum four years of related experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Proven experience leading multiple cross-functional project teams with results-oriented outcomes.
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office applications.
• PMP or formal project management training; Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the details of assigned project plans, including project management, configuration, testing, and go-live support under the leadership of the PMO.
• Work closely with business and project leaders to assess and track activities and resources required for project success.
• Develop, monitor, and communicate project progress using various solutions to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Lead all phases of project management activities, including scope, requirements, technical development, testing, validation, communication, risk, and resource management.
• Provide training and support to project participants and business partners regarding project tools and methodologies.
