Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Science preferred; equivalent experience/education combination considered.
• Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager in HVAC, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling software.
• Comfortable splitting time between office and active shop-floor environments.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and resource-planning background.
• Effective communicator able to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Walk the production floor regularly — this is not a desk-only role

An established manufacturer of custom industrial and commercial HVAC equipment in the Houston, TX area is hiring a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead custom fabrication and assembly projects from kickoff to delivery. This is a made-to-order manufacturing environment — every unit is built to a customer's specific requirements, not pulled off a shelf. You'll work directly with engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and matched to spec. This is a stable, established employer with real ownership over your projects and direct access to leadership.

• Anticipated $75K-$90K annually, based on experience

• Flexible daily schedule (typical 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
