Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc in Crystal Springs, Mississippi is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to keep buildings, utilities, and grounds safe and reliable. You’ll lead a skilled crew, build preventive maintenance programs, and manage budgets and vendor contracts to reduce downtime and boost uptime.

This role requires deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire systems, plus CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in facilities; 3–5 years leading teams in corporate or manufacturing settings.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire systems.
• Proven success with preventive maintenance and CMMS.
• Skilled in budgeting, contracting, and capital project oversight.
• Certifications such as CFM/FMP are a plus; proficiency with Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high‑performing maintenance team.
• Build preventive programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Plan and deliver repairs, renovations, and capital projects.
• Manage budgets and negotiate smart vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.
• Run a CMMS to prioritize work and track performance.
• Inspect facilities and drive timely corrective actions.
• Strengthen emergency readiness for outages and incidents.
