Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Project Manager for Custom Pump ETO and product sustainment to drive lifecycle performance and business outcomes. You will lead engineered-to-order projects while partnering with engineering, operations, and sales to balance market needs with feasibility and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product/program management or hybrid role.
• Experience with engineered-to-order or custom product portfolios.
• Experience with pumps, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Strong customer-facing communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the product portfolio and lifecycle strategy for custom pumps and engineered solutions.
• Define value propositions and use-case definitions based on customer needs and market trends.
• Translate insights into prioritized product requirements, roadmaps, and investments.
• Lead lifecycle management initiatives including cost reduction and margin expansion.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and service teams.
• Ensure on-time project execution from scope through delivery and customer satisfaction.
