Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead process improvement and cost reduction across production operations in Denison, TX. You will manage multiple projects from concept through implementation, partnering with production, engineering, and leadership teams to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability.

The role emphasizes Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable gains while supporting forecasting and budgeting

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects.
• Proven track record of process improvements and cost savings.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead productivity, quality, throughput and cost improvement projects.
• Manage capital equipment and projects from planning to validation.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tooling, and efficiency.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Facilitate cross-functional Kaizen events and sustain gains.
• Monitor results and ensure gains are maintained over time.
• Collaborate with production to improve process capability and reduce waste.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
