Job summary

Actalent in Taylor, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support daily production operations, drive continuous improvement, and lead capital projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4–7 years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Ability to analyze, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes.
• Experience documenting work instructions and process documentation.
• Knowledge of process capability, cycle time, yield and efficiency metrics.
• Experience with capital equipment installation, commissioning, and validation.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and monitor process performance.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, flows, routings, and standard work.
• Analyze scrap, downtime, cycle time, and yield for improvements and cost reduction.
• Lead process changes to improve safety, quality, and throughput with compliance.
• Assist with new product introductions, trials, and validation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
