Job summary

Jobot in the United States seeks a Permanent Project Engineer to drive manufacturing projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and quality. You will lead cross-functional teams and apply Lean and Six Sigma to boost productivity and reduce waste.

You will develop detailed project plans, monitor metrics, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations while communicating updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify defects and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processes and equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams for optimal operation.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with objectives, timelines, budgets, and metrics.
• Conduct regular project reviews and updates with stakeholders and management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
