Job summary

Ecolab in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Project Engineer to lead capital projects, drive process improvements, and optimize manufacturing performance. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external vendors to deliver safe, on-time, within-budget projects that meet quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3 years of chemical manufacturing experience, with preference for PMP, Lean Six Sigma, and CAD/ERP/MES/CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 years of chemical manufacturing engineering experience or related.
• Experience managing capital or process improvement projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability.
