Job summary

Danone’s West Jordan facility is seeking a Project Engineer to join the plant engineering team. You will oversee multiple capital projects, manage timelines and budgets, and drive safety and quality objectives across processing, packaging, building and utilities.

The role requires 3–5 years of engineering experience in a food manufacturing setting, with strong collaboration and excellent communication skills. Danone offers a hybrid work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or relevant field required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience in capital projects or maintenance in food manufacturing.
• Experience with capital project management, budgeting and cross‑functional collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution across processing, packaging, building and utility projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to align project priorities and CAPEX plans.
• Serve with CAPEX team to manage budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents with Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with regional teams during bidding and alignment processes.
• Support contract negotiations with CAPEX procurement; travel as needed.
