Job summary

Clasen Quality Chocolate (CQC) is seeking a Project Engineer for our Sparks, NV facility. The role reports to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and leads capital and productivity projects to expand capacity and flexibility.

The ideal candidate brings engineering experience (5+ years or degree) and proficiency with CAD/MS-Project; PLC knowledge is a plus. The position requires a 1st shift, on-site work in Sparks, NV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience; manufacturing background preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; CAD/MS-Project skills helpful.
• Knowledge of PLCs and PC-based controllers a plus; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute capital and productivity projects to support growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects within budget and timeline.
• Maintain required paperwork and provide regular updates to supervision.
• Ensure smooth handover to departments with training and documentation.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and productivity improvements in capital processes.
