Job summary

Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a Specialist II, Project Management to provide comprehensive support to the Project Manager for a new 2GW solar module auxiliary materials manufacturing facility in Mesquite, Texas.

The role involves coordinating across engineering, procurement, equipment suppliers, contractors, and site teams to ensure on-time execution and readiness. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in project coordination or management within industrial environments, strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical/project experience.
• 3–5 years of project coordination/PM experience.
• Experience with manufacturing plant construction or equipment installation preferred.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Experience with international suppliers; Mandarin proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager across planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of the 2GW facility.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, suppliers, contractors, construction, manufacturing, EHS, quality, logistics, and corporate teams.
• Develop and monitor schedules, milestones, deliverables, and key activities; identify risks and communicate them to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and status updates, document minutes, and track action items.
• Maintain project documentation per established document-control processes.
• Track procurement, shipment, delivery, installation, and readiness of equipment; coordinate with suppliers and site personnel.
• Monitor progress and provide regular status updates on issues, risks, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration focused on safety, quality, schedule, and readiness in a fast-paced plant construction environment.
• All other duties as assigned.
