Job summary

Textron Systems, part of Textron, seeks a Manufacturing Program Analyst to plan, coordinate, and track EVMS-compliant manufacturing efforts on a DoD program. The role interfaces with Finance, Manufacturing Operations, and Program Management to translate cost metrics into actionable decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Admin, Operations, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 0–4 years of professional experience in manufacturing, defense, or program management environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to summarize technical and financial information clearly.
• Collaborative work style with ability to build relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manufacturing Control Accounts (CAs) accountable manager coordinating with Manufacturing Project Managers.
• Develop and maintain time-phased budgets and schedules for labor and material scope.
• Authorize work through Work Packages and Planning Packages.
• Review monthly metrics and translate results into actionable insights for Manufacturing and Program Management.
• Identify root causes of cost/schedule variation and develop Corrective Action Plans.
• Coordinate with Finance Analysts and Program Schedulers for budget changes and Baseline Change Control.
• Understand contract incentive fee structure and how Manufacturing cost performance contributes to execution.
