Job summary

Textron Systems in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Program Analyst to join the Weapon Systems team. This entry-level role focuses on planning, coordination, and performance tracking for EVMS-compliant manufacturing efforts on a DoD program.

The ideal candidate will develop expertise in EVM, cost forecasting, and schedule performance while collaborating with Finance, Operations, and Program Management to deliver results and support program execution across manufacturing domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Admin, Operations, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–4 years of professional experience; internship/co-op/project-based experience in manufacturing, defense, or program management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, stay organized, and follow through on commitments in a structured team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize technical and financial information clearly for a range of audiences.
• Comfort working with data — reading reports, identifying trends, and asking informed questions — without necessarily being a financial analyst.
• Collaborative work style with the ability to build effective relationships across functional teams.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EVMS scope and governance with Manufacturing, Finance, and Program teams.
• Develop and maintain ETCs/BOEs for manufacturing labor and material scope.
• Analyze cost and schedule metrics and translate results into actionable insights for teams.
• Identify root causes of cost/schedule variation and develop corrective action plans.
• Review monthly program data with Finance Analysts and ensure accurate representation of scope.
• Support IBRs and program reviews with clear basis for estimates and risks.
• Maintain ET Cs/BOEs with changes in scope and schedule, and coordinate with IBR activities.
