IDEX Corporation in Farmington, CT is seeking a dependable Production Utility team member for 3rd shift (11pm-7am) to support manufacturing operations. You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, document processes, and help ensure safe, efficient product flow from start to finish.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures, detail orientation, and teamwork. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful. Starting pay is $21.00/hr with potential bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently following training and standards.
• Perform inspections (first-piece, in-process, final) to verify specifications.
• Use testing equipment for quality checks (bubble point, leak, flow, differential pressure).
• Set up and use inspection tools accurately at workstation.
• Complete production documentation and system transactions on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns or process barriers affecting safety, quality, or delivery.
• Support smooth product flow and assist handoffs between steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Job Summary

We are seeking a 3rd shift (11pm-7am) dependable and detail-oriented Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations within our Value Stream. In this hands-on role, you will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, complete required documentation, and help keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish. What You’ll Do

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• Use testing equipment to complete required quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
• Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
• Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
• Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; three to twelve months of related experience is helpful.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, or similar inspection tools is helpful.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.
